Been having such an amazing last few weeks!

I’ve been spending a lot of time with Devon; I spent Saturday night, all of Sunday, and Sunday night and left for school on Monday. We didn’t do much but just enjoy each other’s company and do a few chores around his house. And I’m the happiest I’ve been in years.

So enjoying life right now <3

I met this guy on OKC about a week ago, maybe a little more, I haven’t been good at tracking time lately. Anyway, he contacts me, we get chatting back and forth, nothing really exciting, then we find we have a lot more in common than the site says we do. So we get texting and I wind up getting a couple of very pleasant surprises:

1) This guy will text me every morning with a “Hello Beautiful” or something along that line or close to it

2) He is cute beyond all belief

3) HE HAS A DORK SIDE!

…Okay, that last one REALLY came out when we finally met up, but I am just flipping peaches! The man is a veteran of both Iraq and Afghanistan (I’ve seen his kevlar and the pictures of him from his tours), he’s got two dogs, likes cats well enough, loves shows like Family Guy and Futurama, and gives NO FUCKS that I’m over weight and he’s attractively skinny.

Even better, this is the first and only guy who I’ve ever done a Disney movie quote in front of (minus Matt of course). AND HE LAUGHS AT THEM!

It’s still odd, going out with someone shorter and smaller than me, but… we clicked pretty well and I’m excited about it in a very different way than I have been in the past by a date. Like he’s not just playing games.

I’m so freakin’ happy— I can’t wait for next weekend when we meet up to hike again ^_^

Can someone at least have some common fucking sense that there are very old furs that last a long time. My grandparents have buffalo fur from the turn of the century that’s still in good condition. I would just go to an old thrift store and grab one. More over, hunting populations like coyotes, bear, and deer have kept things in check so they don’t over populate and use up their resources. Instead of culling them, there are trap permits and their meat and fur are used rather than wasted.
